Essential oilfield power supply diagram at all designing stages

Oil Industry Journal № 09/12 has published the team article by V.P. Frayshteter, PH.D., M.A. Suslov, A. S. Martyanov

The article describes update maintenance of the essential oilfield power supply diagram at all designing stages. It proposed a solution for creation of the oilfield power supply geoinformational model in GIS AutoCAD Map 3D, a team-work of oil company electrical engineering services and design institute professionals. Eventual model development trends are observed. Application of the electrical network update model at the designing would allow the design institute to accept reasonable decisions towards potential field facilities power supply, and to retrieve information on network status and project development and upgrading.
