On the problems of energy saving and energy efficiency in reservoir pressure maintenance systems
Oil Industry Journal № 07/2011 has published the article by G.A. Pavlov (HMS Neftemash ОАО) and V.A. Gorbatikov, Ph.D. (Giprotyumenneftegaz)
The typical scheme of reservoir pressure maintenance system, for which HMS Neftemash OAO produced the modular cluster pumping stations, water-distribution points and manifolds for over 30 years, is considered. Despite the fact that the above typical scheme lives up to its purpose, it has drawbacks, primarily related to the lack of operational well after well injection control. A new solution to the problem of management in reservoir pressure maintenance systems based on technology of discrete injections, developed by JSC Giprotyumenneftegaz, is suggested.
