Some results of research the strong electric field effect on the oil stabilization

Oil Industry Journal  № 07/2013 has published an article by V.N. Semenov (Giprotymenneftegaz, HMS Group) on Some results of research the strong electric field effect on the oil stabilization.

The results of laboratory studies of the process of separation of gas from oil under the effect of a strong electrostatic field are given. It is shown that the effect of an electric field on this process is equivalent to a significant increase in oil temperature or reducing the external pressure. A practical use of the obtained results, including the design of the oil fields construction, is suggested.
