Improving energy efficiency of building heating and ventilation systems by use of two-stage electrostatic precipitator
Oil Industry Journal № 06/2014 has published an article by A. A. Dmitriev, V. P. Frayshteter (Giprotymenneftegaz, HMS Group) Improving energy efficiency of building heating and ventilation systems by use of two-stage electrostatic precipitator.А method to reduce energy consumption for heating and ventilation of buildings is proposed. It is based on air purification using single-zone two-stage wet electrostatic precipitator. The principle of operation of the given device, its design features are described. A method for calculating the volume of fresh supplied air, which is based on compensation of an oxygen lack in the air mixture, rather than maintaining the desired room temperature, is suggested.
